Broadcast, Creative, Long Form As a senior at the UW-Madison, I was selected to direct and produce a 30-minute narrative film with a permanent crew of seven other students as a part of the university’s annual Advanced Motion Picture Workshop. Our script explores various themes of identity and adolescence through the eyes of two teenagers at a summer camp in 1999.
Long Form, News, Print During the fall of 2014 I spent five months researching, attending municipal meetings and interviewing stakeholders in an attempt to chronicle and investigate what had caused Madison, Wis. to become ground zero for one of the worst crises of homelessness in America. The project culminated in a 7,000+ word eBook, produced in conjunction with the Atavist.
